Toyota has overtook Samsung Electronics from South Korea became the largest and most expensive in Asia by market capitalization. Shares of Japanese auto giant that has more than doubled in the past year.
As quoted by AFP at the opening of trading this morning, the total market capitalization of 21.89 trillion yen Toyota penetrate (Rp 2,033 trillion), managed to beat the Galaxy mobile phone manufacturers which value of 20.26 trillion yen.
Toyota shares closed yesterday's trading at 6,440 yen level, more than doubled compared to the close of trading last year on the same date, in the amount of 3,165 yen.
Even coming up and down over the past year, but shares automaker's Corolla and Camry is still an upward trend. It is also driven by corporate profits tripled in late 2012.
