The Indonesian government continues to strengthen cooperative relations with Japan. Today,
Minister of Industry MS Hidayat conduct a closed meeting with Kankeiren
(Kansai Economic Federation) an association of businessmen from Japan.
Hidayat said several topics were discussed in a meeting that lasted about 75 minutes. One of the discussion is about, intent Japanese companies to expand its industry to Indonesia.
"They come in 40 people representing 1,500 companies, to explore investment in Indonesia, as they will be massive relocation," Hidayat said after a meeting with Kaikeren at the Ministry of Industry, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jakarta, Monday (11/02/2013 ).
It is said Hidayat, the Indonesian government is ready to provide an area of 3,000 hectares of land for the industrial park. "I hope this year has been accomplished, because they want massive relocation," he continued.
In addition, some discussed the focus of this meeting is on infrastructure development, the government program to build Great Jakarta, or the Metropolitan Priority Area (MPA).
"They explained that the two governments had agreed to build it (MPA)., And our agreement with Japan to build the Port cilamaya," he continued.
Separately, Chairman Kankeiren, Shosuke Mori explains his commitment to continue to work closely with Indonesia, one on industry and the economy.
"Indonesia and the region we have a very good hubuungan., And based on the relationship we establish huibungan economy is strong., And I hope once with our meetings, our relationship deepened," said Shosuke as noted translator.
After a meeting with MS Hidayat, the group planned to Japanese businessmen and delegates will meet with Vice President Boediono leave and later evening, they will attend a dinner with Kadin Indonesia.
