Currently the smallest engines used Honda for their sport bike is the engine of 150 cc. According to the manufacturer's bearing the single wing flapping, motor sport engine below 150 cc are not attractive to produce.
In class 150 cc, Honda currently already have a row of motor sport such as MegaPro, CBR150R, Verza to CB150R StreetFire. Honda was in no mood to produce motorcycles under 150 cc capacity.
"For now, the motor sport under 150 cc seems to have no interest," said Executive Vice President Director of PT Astra Honda Motor Johannes Loman.
Currently, more Loman, 150 cc sport bike market they will soon split. "Because it's diverse market. Likely the market will split," he added.
In class motor sport 150 cc motor that will dominate the market for 150 cc sport bikes of Honda is likely followed by StreetFire CB150R Verza.
"MegaPro there will likely rank third and last CBR150R," he explained.
Loman explained that sport motorcycle market in Indonesia will be more interesting in the future. The percentage of this type of market share will increase.
"The market will dominate the 150 cc sports segment," he said.
