A University of Michigan, United States (U.S.) are required to pay a fine of USD 40.000 or by students are not allowed to bring his pet hamster.
Kendra Velzen, has sued the Grand Valley State University last year. Velzen, who suffered from chronic depression and is dependent on the use of pacemakers that are eager to bring his favorite hamster to campus to give her emotional support.
However, the university forbade bringing it into the classroom hamster. He is only allowed to care for their pets were in the dorm room alone. As a result of the incident sued Velzen Grand Valley State University last month.
Currently Velzen agreed not to proceed with the lawsuit. That's because the University will work with the Fair Housing Center in Michigan, United States (U.S.) to create a policy that addresses assistance for animals.
